The Change-Up (new movie release)
The first five minutes of the change up a frightening vision into the world of late night childcare, with one of the most ridiculous shit-to-face shots ever on film, says the film is caught bait. To achieve Mall Cop and Adam Sandler in a position: in most comedies, this scene would be the first step towards a downward spiral that only Paul Blart be. The change in speed, there is a sequence that sets the bar as low as possible, is artistically, star Jason Bateman and Ryan Reynolds that expectations may slip to eradicate the shocking and hilarious comedy stylings. In other words, the shift is the funniest movie of the year.
Bateman plays Dave Lockwood, a run-of-the-mill lawyer who works as hard, juggling her parental responsibilities and struggles with his wife he loves to tell him to find. Mitch's best friend Dave (Reynolds) could not be more opposite from the bed and spent all day stoned his conscious hours advertising sexual partners of his mind. The two are polar opposites, making them the perfect candidates for a little magic Switcheroo. A particularly disastrous night of alcohol and the lamentations of the suffering to end life with the duo of a leak in a magic fountain (to go with it). Fate, of course, intervenes, and when Dave and Mitch wake up, they get trapped in each other's body.
This is not to deny the shift follows the formula of Freaky Friday, but it's not a mistake. The logic is in place, so Bateman, Reynolds and director David Dobkin (Wedding Crashers) freedom to jump right into the hook of crude humor. Bateman, who became a man to go straight to Hollywood is a refreshing opportunity to live Mitch Reynolds. The character of the absence of self-censorship for the floodgates opened on the surface of some Bateman of English poetry is more horrible punishments. A dictionary of slang may be necessary to understand what might be weird to be part of the body of synonyms the rapid pace of autumn in this film. They understood or not, if they come from Bateman in the mouth, they are invaluable.
The same applies to Reynolds, the man in the box escapes loquacious ladies to play the father uncomfortable. To assess the versatility of an actor in a scene in which he unwittingly at the center of a "Lorno" (read: low budget soft porn) is defined as the twisted, but Reynolds has sold and it is perfectly awful. Even the obvious scenarios such as "uh oh, too, Dave is cheating on his wife's body Mitch" be tweaked once twice, three times the ground beneath you shoot.
The biggest surprise of the Change-Up is the heart of the film. Public pummeling with jokes is one thing, but to sell real relationship between them, it is satisfactory. The fluctuation of the friendship between the two heads of children lead is within reach and holds a plot device impossible to land while Leslie Mann (Up, Knocked Up, Funny People), as the wife of Dave Jamie, has its share of tender moments (and diabolical laughter there is a reason to keep her husband Judd Apatow's casting). In a film that is constructed by rules manual for a piece that resonates with every kind of emotion is just as surprising as a grown man throw a baby next to a set of steak knives. Which coincidentally also happens in the film.
In today's world, where everything is possible, it is difficult to wake up one-liners and slapstick, the nervous and feel that your chin to leave the field. Thus the shift hits and shocks.
